July 14, 2017 - It is time to prepare for the Cedar Golf Classic. This golf outing is intended to raise funds for the Coal Education Development and Resource (CEDAR) Program. CEDAR is a program in southern West Virginia to help educate students and their parents on the importance of the coal industry. 

This year, the captain’s choice golf tournament will be held in conjunction with the Bluefield Coal Show at the “Fincastle on the Mountain” in Bluefield, Virginia on Tuesday, September 12, 2017. Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the golf beginning at 10:00 a.m. A luncheon will follow golf. We need golfers, sponsors, prize donors and kind-hearted contributors to make this fundraiser a success.  We also need volunteers to help organize and stage this event.
