Conference: World Mining Congress to Promote Science and Technology Cooperation

 

 

April 10, 2018 - The 2018 World Mining Congress is set for June 19-22, 2018, in Astana, Kazakhstan. It is billed as the largest industry event that brings together specialists and scientists from 50 countries working in mineral development, science, technology, environmental protection and industrial safety. 


The 25th World Mining Congress will present more than 350 specialized reports of the world’s top ranking institutions. This promotion of fundamental scientific and technological co-operation in the mining industry, exchange of knowledge, and experience should be on everyone’s calendar. The reports are thoroughly vetted by the WMC’s international scientific committee, representing the Canadian Institute of Mining Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM), the Austrian Non-Ferrous Metals Association, the German Federation of International Mining and Mineral Resources (FAB), the Chinese National Coal Association, and many more.
