July 16, 2019 - It is time to prepare for the CEDAR GOLF CLASSIC. This golf outing is intended to raise funds for the Coal Education Development and Resource (CEDAR) Program. CEDAR is a program in southern West Virginia to help educate students and their parents on the importance of the coal industry.

This year, the captain’s choice golf tournament will be held in conjunction with the Bluefield Coal Show at the “Fincastle on the Mountain” in Bluefield, Virginia on Tuesday, September 10, 2019. Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the golf beginning at 10:00 a.m. A luncheon will follow golf. We need golfers, sponsors, prize donors and kind-hearted contributors to make this fundraiser a success.  We also need volunteers to help organize and stage this event.

The second page is an application form for this outing. Feel free to contact any of the individuals listed on the form to answer any questions. Please join us for a day of fun, food and drink and camaraderie. What could be better than helping to educate students in our area and having fun at the same time?  Bring some cash with you to purchase mulligans, etc. I look forward to seeing you on the course.
