WHAT: A public meeting to present and submit comments on the Request for Information on Respirable Silica (Quartz) published in the Federal Register on August 29, 2019.
The Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) is soliciting information and data on feasible best practices to protect miners’ health from exposure to quartz in respirable dust. The comment period for the RFI closes on October 28, 2019.
