May 12, 2016 - This is a landmark event, as this conference will draw attendance from leading mining professionals from all over the world. Speakers representing industry, institutions, government agencies, equipment suppliers and software providers, professionals from the mining industry and practitioners from consulting companies, as well as academic scholars and researchers will present and discuss mining issues of the 21st century. The focus will be on responsible mining, mining technologies and mineral resources in the realm of significant challenges, ranging from technological to social, environmental and economic concerns.
The scientific program will feature 7 plenary talks by internationally renowned experts, 10 theme sessions with over 70 technical and scientific talks and 25 poster presentations. In addition, there will be 19 exhibition stands by industry, academia, publishing houses and research associations. The beautiful city of Aachen provides the setting for this meeting, and the conference dinner will add real flavour to the event!
