March 6, 2025 - The upcoming WVMDTF symposium will be held at the Charleston, WV Civic Center, April 15-17, 2025, in conjunction with the WV Coal Association (WVCoal) Symposium and the WV Coal Show. 

There will be a limited number of exhibit spots that will be available Wednesday morning through Thursday noon at the atrium beside the WV Coal Association and WV Mine Drainage Task Force meeting rooms for exhibitors who focus on environmental and mine drainage needs. You may contact info@wvmdtaskforce.com to make arrangements for these spots. They are unrelated to the COAL SHOW registration. 

If you have never attended the WVCoal Symposium at the civic center, it is a big deal. Last year there were over 400 individuals at the day and half meeting in March in the large meeting room, and there were two luncheons (one was safety awards, the second was environmental awards) plus a reception and dinner. In the exhibit hall, thousands of attendees interacted with over one hundred exhibitors showing everything from huge mine ventilation fans to other mine equipment and services and other environmental products and services. That event is referred to as the COAL SHOW and you use the link above to EXHIBIT. 

The WVCoal.com site currently has registration open for their event starting on TUESDAY,  but many of you with environmental interests will want to attend ONLY WEDNESDAY and THURSDAY events.
