The countdown is on! It’s just days away until the Metallurgical Coal Producers Association’s
annual conference and exhibition, May 18-20, 2025, at the Stonewall Resort in Roanoke, West Virginia.

The conference starts with executives from our six coal producer members in Central
Appalachia with operations in Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia. MCPA’s
member companies have 10,000 employees at 100 mines producing most of the met coal mined
in the United States.

They will be talking about today’s markets, and the opportunities and challenges facing metallurgical
coal as it relates to the actions in Washington and around the world. Met coal is a global commodity.
About three fourths of the met coal mined in the U.S. is exported to foreign markets.
