Re:        Randy Smith Business Roundtable and Fundraising Reception July 30 Morgantown

We are joining with several member companies to host a roundtable discussion and fundraising reception on July 30 in Morgantown for Senate President Randy Smith and his leadership PAC "Mountaineer Conservative Coalition, Inc".

As you're aware, Senator Smith and his leadership team have come through on myriad pro-coal legislation over the years and were principally responsible for including the strong coal provisions within HB 2014 to ensure that state regulated coal plants are upgraded and operate at optimum levels. 

Of note, there is a formidable challenge underway to Randy's leadership position from a faction of the State Senate that does not share the same level of appreciation for coal that Randy and his team possess.  That's why it is Important to support Randy now to provide his team with the political support and wherewithal to prevail in 2026 and keep control of the State Senate.

The " Mountaineer Conservative Coalition, Inc" is a 501 C (4) that is set up legally to receive corporate and individual contributions.  

We ask that you join us on July 30 at 4:00 pm for a roundtable discussion of pertinent industry issues.  Most importantly, we ask that you consider a personal and a corporate contribution. 

THE CONTRIBUTION LEVELS IN THE ATTACHED INVITATION ARE INTENDED TO BE “RECOMMENDED.” WE ARE DESIROUS TO HAVE A CROWD OF OUR MEMBERS ON HAND AND ALL $100 TO $1000 CONTRIBUTORS WILL BE GRATEFULLY WELCOMED TO ATTEND.
