June 12, 2017 - The Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration Inc. (SME) is conducting its Professional Engineer Review Course, September 16-20, at the Hilton St. Louis Airport Hotel in St. Louis, Missouri.

The P.E. Review Course is a 5-day course covering the following examination subject areas:

 

  • Exploration (ten questions)
  • Mine Planning and Operations (32 questions)
  • Environmental and Reclamation (14 questions)
  • Mineral Processing (24 questions)


Taught by college professors from Pennsylvania State University, University of British Columbia, West Virginia University and Colorado School of Mines, the course will include:

It is important to note that this is a review course. Its purpose is to provide an overall review of the subjects covered in the test. Participants should be familiar and comfortable with the fundamentals of geology, engineering and chemistry/metallurgy to get the most from this course.
