Hello C&E members, let's hope 2021 is brighter for us all.  We are still in need of donations for the silent auction, please don't forget how important the auction is for us and our funding.  The deadline for items to be at SME HQ is only a month away - February 5th.

The SME Coal and Energy Division has announced that it will take part in a virtual silent auction to help raise funds for the Coal & Energy Division Scholarship fund. The online auction will take place in conjunction with the MINEXCHANGE 2021 SME Annual Conference & Expo March 1-5th.

At this time, we request your help in making our event a huge success by donating items to auction off. This is an excellent way for you to give back to our industry, advertise on behalf of your company and donate to the Coal and Energy Division. Last year, the Division awarded $31,000 in scholarships to undergraduate students with interests in coal mining. Your donation will be recognized in Mining Engineering magazine, as well as on the online auction website.
