July 6, 2021 - The United Mine Workers of America have been striking outside of Warrior Met Coal for nearly 100 days.

Union members told ABC 33/40 they plan to keep striking until a better contract is presented. They are striking for better pay and health benefits.

United Mine Workers of America have been striking nearly 100 days. 

"We're not getting anywhere close hopefully within the next few weeks or so, we'll start seeing some more positive negotiations," said Larry Spencer, UMWA International District 20 Vice President.
