Reminder: EnergyTech University Prize Student Registration Deadline is February 1, 2024

The U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management is participating in the 2024 American-Made EnergyTech University Prize (EnergyTech UP), sponsored by DOE’s Office of Technology Transitions.

There’s still time to compete! This $400,000+ collegiate competition challenges student teams to develop and present a business plan that leverages DOE National Laboratory-developed or other emerging energy technologies. Plus, FECM is sponsoring a $25,000 bonus prize to students presenting business plans focused on carbon dioxide removal.

The deadline for student teams to submit a 200-word summary idea for EnergyTech UP is February 1, 2024.

Collegiate student competitors are encouraged to bring any remaining questions to the final informational webinar on January 23, 2024.
