February 14, 2024 - HB 5522 has been passed out of the House Energy and Manufacturing Committee and referred to House Finance with a recommendation that it be passed. HB 4722 is also in House Finance. 

Provided below is a link to a letter populated on our website that we have forwarded to our Friends of Coal data base to send to pertinent legislators which encourages their support for our legislative priorities.  Please advise your colleagues to respond to this request as well. 

Also, attached is a sample letter for our members to consider sending in support of HB 4722.  We believe hearing from your company will have a positive effect on the process and increase the likelihood of the legislation being enacted.
