March 11, 2024 - The Coal Markets Report has been updated for the business week ending March 8, 2024.

For the week, spot prices:

• Increased $2.30 to $77.80/short ton in Central Appalachia
• Increased $0.55 to $51.00/short ton in Northern Appalachia
• Decreased $0.05 to $13.85/short ton in the Powder River Basin
• Decreased $0.10 to $26.70/short ton in the Uinta Basin

Prices remained unchanged at $43.00/short ton in the Illinois Basin

Spot prices are in dollars per short ton and are for delivery in the second quarter of 2024.
