March 13, 2024 - The National Mining Association (NMA) has established a Mining Workforce Development Working group to help address the workforce needs of the mining industry. The first goal of the mining workforce development working group is to work to create a comprehensive advocacy strategy to meet the needs of the industry and strengthen the domestic mining workforce.

 The first meeting of the Mining Workforce Development Working Group will take place on Wednesday, April 3 at 1:00 pm ET. The meeting will focus on evaluating the workforce development needs of our members to establish the pillars under which the group will develop its strategy.
