April 22, 2024 - The Coal Markets Report has been updated for the business week ending April 19, 2024.

For the week, spot prices:

• Decreased $4.85 to $72.50/short ton in Central Appalachia
• Increased $1.55 to $51.25/short ton in Northern Appalachia
• Increased $1.00 to $44.50/short ton in the Illinois Basin
• Increased $0.10 to $13.75/short ton in the Powder River Basin

Prices remained unchanged in the Uinta Basin at $23.50/short ton.

Spot prices are in dollars per short ton and are for delivery in the third quarter of 2024.
