July 10, 2024 - The Buffalo Office of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) released its Final Environmental Impact Statement concerning coal leasing in the Powder River Basin. The BLM has chosen Alternative A – the NO coal leasing alternative – as its preferred alternative. Campbell, Converse, and Johnson Counties have submitted a joint protest to BLM's decision. Below is a link to a petition in support of the joint protest letter. Please consider signing the petition and show your support for Wyoming coal and Wyoming jobs. Feel free to forward this email to anyone who also supports stable and affordable electricity.
