June 3, 2025 - Tickets are now available for the National Mining Hall of Fame and Museum’s 38th annual Induction Gala, our most celebrated event of the year. This year’s distinguished class of inductees exemplifies the innovation, leadership, and integrity that define our industry.

We are proud to induct John W. "Jack" Goth, whose technical leadership and advocacy helped shape the molybdenum industry and elevated professional organizations across the mining world. Edward C. Hegeler, a true industrial pioneer, is being recognized for revolutionizing zinc production in the 1800s and advancing progressive worker welfare decades ahead of his time. Timothy R. Snider's bold technological innovations and people-first leadership in copper mining set global standards, while Jack E. Thompson is celebrated for transforming Homestake into a diversified global mining powerhouse with a legacy rooted in safety, sustainability, and excellence.

We are also thrilled to present the 2025 Prazen Living Legend of Mining Award to David Kanagy. Over two decades as Executive Director of SME, Kanagy has led transformative educational and outreach initiatives, championing responsible mining and promoting the next generation of industry professionals.
