Indonesia Sets Coal Production Target at 609 Million Tons for 2021
June 17, 2025 - It was reported that the Indonesian government has revised its 2021 coal production target to 609 million tons from 2020's 550 million tons.
Ridwan Djamaluddin, Director General of Indonesian Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry, said that India had a target of 441 million tons of coal exports in 2021.
The data showed that Indonesia produced 324.4 million tons of coal in the January-July period, with a monthly average output of 46.3 million tons, down by 4.2 million tons from the same period last year.
