December 5, 2025 - Registration is now open for the 2026 Bench Bash, hosted by the West Virginia University Mining Extension on January 14 & 15, 2026. 

This 2-Day Bench Contest will feature the BG4 Breathing Apparatus, BG ProAir Apparatus, and the BIO-MARINE 240R Apparatus. Compete for top honors, showcase your skills, and put your team’s expertise to the test. Registration is $300, with payment made during online registration.

This event is an excellent opportunity to sharpen skills, connect with peers, and support the next generation of mine rescue professionals. All registration fees directly support WVU’s Collegiate Mine Rescue Teams as they prepare for the International Collegiate Contest in Sudbury, Ontario, in February 2026.
