December 9, 2025 - The TVMI Scholarship is open to students in West Virginia from Mingo, Logan, Wayne, Pike, and Martin counties.  The applications are available in November of each year and may be obtained from a TVMI board member or from the TVMI Facebook page.  Two $8,000 Scholarships and four $1,000 Scholarships are awarded each year. Also, the WIMEF (Women in Mining Education Foundation) has ready-made lesson plans for grades K-12, which can be seen at www.womeninmining.us/education-foundation/.
