December 11, 2025 - Below is a message from Brandon Neal, Mine Safety Program Manager, Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety: The 2026 Colorado Regional Mine Rescue Contest is scheduled to take place in Loveland, Colorado, at the John Q. Hammons Conference Center from July 27–30, 2026. Here please find the official event details for your review and planning purposes. The Divisions of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (DRMS) and the Rocky Mountain Mine Rescue Council (RMMRC) extend their sincere gratitude for the continued support from all participating companies and vendors.
In preparation for the accompanying cornhole tournament, the RMMRC has invested in new, higher-quality equipment to enhance the participant experience this year.
Please also note that all testing will be conducted on the same day as event registration.
While minor logistical challenges are inherent in managing events of this scale, feedback regarding test development issues observed during the 2025 contest has been addressed. We have implemented enhanced quality control measures in our procedures to alleviate similar issues moving forward and ensure a smooth competition for all teams.
