December 15, 2025 - We updated our Coal Markets Report for the business week ending December 12, 2025.

For the week, spot prices:

• Increased $1.00 to $82.00 in Central Appalachia
• Increased $0.50 to $52.50 in Illinois Basin

All other spot prices remained unchanged from the week ending December 5, 2025.

Spot prices are in dollars per short ton and are for delivery in the first quarter of 2026.
