Senator Jim Justice
U.S. Senator, West Virginia
Senator James C. Justice II is a lifelong West Virginian and former Governor of West Virginia. Before entering public service, he built and led major West Virginia-based business operations in agriculture, coal, and hospitality, including leadership roles connected to Bluestone and the revitalization of The Greenbrier. He now serves as West Virginia’s U.S. Senator.

Congressman Riley Moore
U.S. Representative, West Virginia’s 2nd District
Congressman Riley M. Moore represents West Virginia’s Second Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives and took the oath of office on January 3, 2025. He previously served in West Virginia state government, including as State Treasurer, and is currently assigned to the House Committee on Appropriations.

Secretary Kris Warner
Secretary of State, West Virginia
Kris E. Warner is West Virginia’s 31st Secretary of State. A sixth-generation West Virginian from Charleston, he was elected in November 2024 and serves as the state’s Chief Elections Officer and Chief Business Registration & Licensing Official. Warner previously led USDA Rural Development in West Virginia (overseeing more than $1.2 billion in investments, per his official bio) and later served as Executive Director of the West Virginia Economic Development Authority.
About the Symposium
The Symposium features two days of keynote presentations, technical sessions, awards ceremonies, and networking opportunities, along with engineering credits and admission to the WV Coal Show.
